Hi this is my first attempt at making a perpetual motion gravity wheel, I have plans to make another one, and in doing so iron out the problems which stopped this one from working, the changes include making the outer wheel larger thus increasing the leverage on the inner wheel lift, spreading the two tracks further apart thus creating more time on the downward push on the outer wheel and finally adding an extra 12 slots in the inner wheel to carry more balls up again to the top track. I have carried out the weights and leverage tests so now I know the next one I make will definately work!

Question Is Free energy possible and probable. Does any perpetual motion machines exist?
I have read about and seen machines that appear generate more useable energy than they consumer. Some are magnetic and produce electricity and or mechanical energy, some are wheels and some employ leverage and gravity. I see no real reason why some of these technologies can not be exploited. I mean are we really condemned to use only heat for a nonrenewable source to generate affordable energy althought, becoming unaffordable rapidly.?

Best Answer Ok...so you got the answers you would have expected But just think for a moment...everything we know of is in perpetual motion (at least as long as matters in our lives) 1) The electrons of your body 2) Our earth around the sun 3) Molecules of water in the ocean 4) And on and on and on My real challenge to all would be to find something that is not moving...including it's parts... So you are exactly right when you see no reason that the technologies can't be exploited! Energy is everywhere and abundant...you just have to find the best ways to tap into it (remember even a coal fire power plant is tapping into what used to be the energy of the sun).
Question Do you agree with Stephen Hawking?Did God create Universe or did it create itself?
Heres what different sections of society think about his views... What do you think ? Shiraz Minwalla, Theoretical Physicist, TIFR The bar is set really high for saying that you know what exactly happened. I wouldn’t speculate about how the universe was created. What we do know, from observation and according to the laws of physics, is that about 13.6 billion years ago the universe was very small. You can think of it in terms of a movie running backwards. The laws of physics apply for the length of the movie. But at the end of that period, when everything ends very near to the point we call the Big Bang, our ignorance takes over. Roughly, to start with, there was a lot of space-time. One theory for which there is increasing evidence suggests that there was initially a small bubble of space and time, which expanded exponentially fast. Christianity: The Bible presents the creation of the universe in seven days. In six days, He creates the elements, the environment, the animal kingdom and lastly but not least humans. On the seventh day, God rests. Fr Savio Fernandes, Spokesperson, Archdiocese of Mumbai, says Stephen Hawking is using Physics to explain God, who can be explained only through metaphysics. He says the law of gravity can explain scientific phenomenon. Where does the law of gravity come from? There has to be an originator. Hinduism: Existence is cyclical. The cosmos represents only one turn in the perpetual 'wheel of time'. The Universe expands for a period of time. It is made of eight elements – earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and ego. It is out of God's desire and his will that the other elements manifest themselves. Chaitanya Charan Das, ISKCON: Hawking assumes that the laws of nature existed before the universe. He simply substitutes God with the laws of physics. Our experience shows that laws need an organising intelligence. Islam: Allah created the universe and earth in six days though each of these days could represent months or years, how many is not specified. The Quran says Allah created everything: the solar system, the earth, the sun, the sky and life. Maulana Zaheer Abbas Rizvi, Secretary, All India Shia Personal Law Board: Even if we agree with Hawking that our world was created by the big bang, where did those elements responsible for this phenomenon originate? Everything we see around us is created either by human beings or by God. The Quran has proof that Allah created everything. Jainism: The universe has existed since infinity and has no beginning or end. Everything on this planet – from a drop of water, to the greenery, to the mountains – has a life of its own. Atul Shah, Jainism scholar: I fully agree with Hawking’s theory that god has not created this universe or the earth. We are the authors of our destiny and can achieve salvation only by looking into our own souls. Science is an infant while religion is an Olympics gold medallist. Best Answer God created the universe and time. God is eternal. Assuming the theory of evolution to be a fact, not a faith, and assuming the universe created itself (from what, where, how?) are all assumptions including the assumption of time as always present.
Question pepetual motion notion.?
to be considered perpetual motion, would the devise have to run without an external input of energy "forever", or untill the parts of such devise simply wore out? I know im gonna catch some heat for this, but, i think its possible. possible by using 2 constant forces complimenting the others role. 1. gravity 2. magnets ,, i wish i could draw on here, this theory has haunted me for years. overbalancing a farriswheel by using the polarity of a stationary magnet to "push" the reciprocating closer to the center of the wheel , decreasing the energy needed to ascend that is being provided by the descending magnets that were extended to the end of the lever by springs after leaving the magnetic field. HELP reciprocating magnets...typo i know its been deemed impossible, but so was alot of things before someone did them. flight, space travel, trveling faster than your horse could run, depending on the time frame you wish to consider

Best Answer Gravity travels at the speed of light and is therefore inescapable. The force of gravity would eventually cause your device to quit moving. This might be an eternity but it would eventually stop. Sorry, but no arrangement of magnets and gravity will result in a perpetual motion device. The only thing you might ever consider a perpetual motion device is the entire universe itself and that in itself is debatable.
