Here it is, the perpetual motion in reality on our desk, the demonstration shows three coils of similar size with their own unique properties. In this video I also show the radiant output of the motor in mechanical and electric form. I have two hands therefor I show only one phase. The input is about 6 volts (did not check that) with about 100 milliamp ( 0.1 A) thus less than 0.6 watt. Ofcourse 0.6 watt divided by ontime is actual estimated watts ( meter watts / ontime = actual estimated watts). Need some help? Google: "Ideas and Motors". Thanks for watching. JP

Yahoo Answers For Perpetual Motion Motors
Question Why is it not possible for perpetual motion motors?
based solely on magnets, I dont see how this is different than using electromagnets which would work.
Best Answer Electromagnets can be turned on to attract a permanent magnet in a specific direction of rotation and turned off when they pass the permanent magnet to prevent them from being pulled back in the opposite direction. Permanent magnets only in a rotating device, unfortunately, cannot be turned on and off and will simply oscillate for a short time until they reach equilibrium and no further uneven forces are present. As I type this, there's no doubt in my mind that many people are working on prototypes and different designs to prove me wrong - but they will not have to prove me wrong, they will have to prove some very basic physical laws concerning the conservation of mass/energy wrong, and that's extremely unlikely.

Question How to build a perpetual motion motor ?
I want to learn how to make a perpetual motion motor if someone could help me out on how to build one that would be great Thanks
Best Answer It's impossible. You see, entropy is the result of the passage of time in a sense and the only way according to relativity to go back in time is to travel faster than light which is impossible due to inertial mass. There is a speed of light for a reason. Try pushing a cart from 0 mph to 10 mph; it accelerates pretty quickly, but it becomes increasingly difficult the faster you go and it takes an infinite amount of energy to accelerate a mass to the speed of light and infinite energy is impossible. So it's impossible to go at the speed of light with a mass let alone faster than light. Therefore time travel to the past is impossible, and therefore reversing entropy is impossible because entropy is a function of time in a sense. This may all seem irrelevant, but it is completely relevant and helps you to have a better understanding of why perpetual motion is impossible. A concise explanation would be that perpetual motion is impossible due to entropy. *All* of the supposed "perpetual motion machines" operate by the transference of motion and therefore do not violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Perpetual motion machines are an illusion. EDIT: The link that "NTH IQ" posted to the "perpetual motion" machine isn't a perpetual motion machine at all, this machine again operates on the transference of motion.

Question Lets say someone makes a Perpetual Motion machine?
Somehow someone came up with a Perpetual Motion Machine. After building it ended up being size of a coffee table and only outputs few watts more than it takes it. Would something that could never(at any scale) make effect power to be cost effective really change anything? Or would it just be another cool toy?
Best Answer Your "thought experiment" does not have to be perpetual motion. Suppose the same idea but it extracted almost all the energy from a mass. Remember E=MC². So if you put in 1kGm of scrap mass and it could produce a few watts for years what uses would it have? First space travel, cost is of (almost) no object there. A few watts will operate most space probes and many satellites. Military uses also. Again high cost can be acceptable. To produce use for you home would be more difficult. Cost matters here. kWHrs of electricity costs the consumer only pennies. You unit might have to run it for years to break even. Would you pay $1000 (or you local equivelent) if it took 5 years or more to break even? How about 10 years? What if it was $5000 and 5 years?

Hugh Le Caine: Compositions & Demonstrations, 1946-1974

Hugh Le Caine, early electronic music pioneer, demonstrates his Electronic Sackbut in 1948 by playing the opening clarinet solo from Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue'. Working at his Toronto laboratory, supported by the Canadian National Research Council, he went on to engineer and prototype the touch sensitive organ, variable speed recorder, multi-track recorder, and numerous other magnificent electronic instruments. And he demonstrated his inventions by composing his own music and by arranging well known tunes, demonstrating at the same time that he was a talented musician and that he had a great sense of humor. This CD, produced by Gayle Young, Le Caine's biographer, is a comprehensive compilation of his music, much of it not available before. The CD also includes many of Le Caine's spoken explanations of his demonstrations which make the CD come alive with human interest. In its commemoration of a remarkable personality and in the historical importance of its content, this is an essential CD. In the extent to which it is also enjoyable, it is a stunning accomplishment.

Question where can i buy perpetual motion generators?
i want to know where i can buy a perpetual motion generator? I need to know where i can buy a kit for it. Please help. Thanks in advance... Lukeaduke200
Best Answer There are lots of "perpetual motion" toys. For example: http://www.sciplus.com/category.cfm/subsection/1 You can generally find them by googling things like "magnetic toy" "perpetual toys", etc. This one is a radiometer; it uses momentum from sunlight to rotate a low friction rotor. There are also neat ones that use water or batteries. Of course, these "perpetual" machines are not really perpetural. They are just using a clever or hidden power source. No such thing as a real perpetual motion generator, though lots of people have spent lots of money trying to get one (most of the money was scammed from investors).

Question Perpetual motion generator..? possible?
NOT USEFUL: thought: two black holes, one above the other, drop the ball down the bottom one, it comes out the top one and goes back throught the bottom one and around and around again, even if this amazing feat could be achieved, how could you harness the energy.. (needless to say if you could produce two "worm holes" you probably aint gonna bother dropping a metal ball down one for you amusement..(though you never know , could be a desk ornament by the year 4006, bearing in mind: There are three laws of thermodynamics: you can't get something for nothing, you can't win, and you have to lose. The first law says you can't produce matter or energy from nothing; they are conserved. The second says the amount of entropy in the universe can only increase. The third notes that friction exists, so entropy does increase black hole should probably read worm hole..
Best Answer in order for both black holes to exist in a proximity that would allow this fictional ball to travel between them (even though it would be compressed to infinitly small partical each time it passed thorough one) they would have to be equally sized and opposite as the ball would have to escape the gravitation acceleration of one black hole inorder to enter the gravitation pull of the other. if there where three or more black holes spaced far enough apart so that thier gravitational pull would not act on each other causing them to collapse, then they could be situated in a circular orientation which would allow the ball to travel through one and accelerate toward the next. While this occurs; will the ball approach the speed of light inturn turn the infintly small particle into a infinity large partical beause the energy would exponentially increase? The ball gets compressed by the gravitational forces of the black hole...but the velocity increases and therefore causes the energy to increase???? Even though black holes are not really black holes...I play along

Question How does a Magnetic Generator work? (Magniwork)?
NOT a Perpetual Motion Machine, those do not exist. If you know how Magniwork works, then please let me know. That is really what i'm trying to find out! Could you please leave a source if possible? Thank you in advance!
Best Answer An electric generator is a device or machine that is used to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. It is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, a scientific law that was discovered by British scientist Michael Faraday and American scientist Joseph Henry in 1831. The principle states that when an electric conductor, such as a copper wire, is moved through a magnetic field, electric current will flow through the conductor. The mechanical energy of the moving wire is converted into the electric energy. Faraday and Henry found that when you move a magnet in a coil of wire, electric current is generated. # Faraday's law of induction shows that a moving magnetic field will cause electrons to move. Generators create electron movement in the copper wire coils contained within by moving them through a magnetic field. Faraday built the first electromagnetic generator, called the Faraday disc, which was a simple copper disc rotating between the poles of a horseshoe magnet. It produced a small DC voltage and large amounts of current that was inefficient, but a good start for future generators. # Generator magnets apply pressure to the electrons to push them and create a flow or current of electricity. The number of moving electrons is called the amperage or the current and is measured in amps. The pressure pushing the electrons is called the voltage and is measured in volts. # A generator is basically created by a mechanical force that turns a conductive wire or bar within a magnetic field. The force used to spin the conductive object can be provided by many sources, such as moving water, steam, wind, gas engine or even hand-cranked levers. The electricity then flows into an electric motor or other electric-powered device, which reverses the process and the electricity makes it move. Small generators create a magnetic field with permanent magnets. Larger generators create a magnetic field with a set of metal coils with electric current flowing through them; this is an electromagnet. # There are many types of generators. Each is based on the method it uses to either spin a conductor through a magnetic field or a magnet through a conductor. Some include the following generators and/or examples of devices using generators. Magnetohydrodynamic generators creates electric power from hot gases moving through a magnetic field. Pre-1960s vehicles used DC generators with electromechanical regulators but have been replaced with alternators, which are cheaper, to recharge the batteries. An alternator is a type of generator that creates a magnetic field that rotates and passes through coils to create an electric current. Engine generators are the combination of electrical generators and engines that are used in piston engines or gas turbines, such as small portable gas-powered units to large turbines. Hydroelectric power plants use falling water to turn a turbine, which provide the mechanical energy to turn the generator and create electricity. The electricity is then sent through transmission lines to deliver electricity to homes or buildings. Some sail boats use water or wind-powered generators to charge the batteries through the use of small propellers, wind turbine or impeller. Human-powered electrical generators are used in devices such as portable radios or flashlights with a crank. Small generators are used in bicycle lights and powered by riders see yaaa sanjo

im like having an Obsession trying to find a sight that can sale these things even if they are prototypes. im totally interested to almost near desperate! if i get any worse i would be forced to build my own witch is the last thing in my life! Medium or big doesn't matter. just hoping to cover our fridge and heater. they work by perpetual motion with a little electricity added for more power.
Best Answer Have you tried going to google and typing "magnetic generator" in their search box? Oh, and there's no such thing as "perpetual motion". Good luck with your scheme, but I'm quite sure you'll wind up needing to use electricity from the electric company to keep your household appliances running.

Question Why do perpetual motion devices not exist?
It seems like you can make perpetual motion by using a small motor to turn a wheel, then using the wheel to recharge a battery that is powering the motor. Why does this not work? Are scientists close to creating self-sustaining devices?
Best Answer it does exist, because i have it, in fact i've 5 different versions working as we speak...,,,,

The Orffyreus Wheel

In 1712, a remarkable man named Johann Bessler unveiled an amazing invention. It was a Perpetuum Mobile – a Perpetual Motion Device – a wheel that spun after being set into motion until it was stopped with no mechanical input. It was capable of sustaining this motion and producing enough energy to complete “work” – meaning, literally, that there was something from nothing. Bessler never revealed his secret. He was hounded, mocked, and chased through a very rough and adventurous life. His secret died with him.
Except that it didn’t.
Elly Kassel is the granddaughter and heir of Evelyn Kassel, though the two were not close. Elly is called into the offices of eminent London Solicitors Ratliff & Brownridge, where she discovers that her grandmother was a rich woman. She also receives a trunk, and an envelope, which she is not to open until she reaches New York City. In New York, she is told, all her questions about her grandmother, and her inheritance will be answered.
She takes the flight with some trepidation, and is met by a man named Jonathan at who whisks her away from the airport without even time to grab her luggage. She is taken to a country estate, where she is introduced to Maxwell Black. Black tries to win her trust, but is not very diplomatic. As he is about to try to wrest the envelope she was given from her hands, she is rescued by two men and a woman and again dragged off into the night.
What follows is a series of harrowing near-misses as Elly studies and learns the secrets of The Orffyreus Project, where free energy might be a very real possibility, and her grandmother’s dream of bringing the perpetual motion wheel into production and wide-spread use for the good of mankind seems very possible, and Maxwell Black does everything in his considerable power to stop her, to steal the technology, and to see that the interests of the Petroleum industry are protected from the imminent disaster of obsolescence.
The novel follows parallel paths, showing the odd life of Johann Bessler as he tries to sell his invention to the highest bidder, and Elly Kassel as she tries to prevent her grandmother’s re-discovery of that invention doing exactly that. The two story lines bear down on one another, traveling along at a breakneck pace. Will Black repeat history and bury the wheel forever? The answer lies in “The Orffyreus Wheel.”

Perpetual Motion; An Ancient Mystery Solved?

A study of the life and work of Johann Bessler (aka Orffyreus)who claimed that he had perfected a Perpetual Motion machine in 1712. The evidence for his claims is examined and proof of his sincerity is discussed. The previously unknown existence of a coded message is revealed and described and the possible way in which the machine was constructed is examined.

Yahoo Answers For Perpetual Motion Wheel
Question what is perpetual motion? and whats the technology behind the perpetual motion machine (wheel).?
Its a wheel that produces perpetual motion. whats the mechanism inside that machine or wheel.
Best Answer perpetual motion is a concept that a machine, wheel or what ever will continue in motion forever from the initial energy that is input. perpetual motion cannot exist due to the law of conservation of energy. this is because all mechanisms have some form of energy loss from friction, heat, light, radiation. this means that no matter how efficient a machine is you will always have some energy loss somewhere and you will always have to input more energy periodically.

Question perpetual motion (unbalanced wheel)?
if someone made a perpetual motion machine that was a unbalanced wheel.... but it worked would it violate the laws of thermodynamics?
Best Answer Sorry crazy8s123, but lots of things do not violate the laws of physics. The claim that bumblebees cannot fly according to the laws of physics is a myth. A nice feature of the scientific method is that if an observation cannot be explained by theory then a new one is developed.

Question Has any of the perpetual motion nay sayers ever tried it?
My son and his friend about 6 years ago for their 6th grade science project built a simple perpetual motion wheel using magnets and counter weights. It was enough to get them 3rd place in the county finals. and yes it worked, it did not produce anything other than a simple spinning wheel that spun continuously until manually stopped, over unity is another issue and thats what science investigation is about. To add more details, they did not make the cover of magazines or win a nobel prize, they along with the other contestants were mentioned in the local paper. The construction of the wheel used 2 fairly strong magnets, not the radio shack refrigerator style. The wheel took 3 days to balance before the second magnet was introduced. the bar magnets took about 2 more days to get proper alignment. Then a couple more days to re-balance the whole device, the kids worked very hard on it. No it is still not running, after the competition and they won their trophies, they were content and the friends younger brother had fun playing with it. It did run continuously for 2 days leading up to the final competition. the bar magnets were arranged so the leading edge attract the face repelled, so as the wheel spun the magnets pushed each other apart and the counter weight kept the momentum going. I appreciate all the comments, maybe we'll rename this to Magnetic Perpetual Motion Indeterminate.
Best Answer wow - notice how they all say why your son didn't make perpetual motion? none of them even said if they have tried it or not - they'd rather be like patty hearst and believe what others tell them, instead of thinking for themselves! i'm not a nay sayer, cos i've tried it and done it
